Waxham Barn are delighted to announce that as and from today, 8th July 2020, we are re-opening the Barn for wedding viewings. Please note that the Barn remains closed to tourists until further guidance from the Government.
To keep everyone safe, there will be a few but very important small changes. We would request that you wear a face mask for your visit. Hand sanitiser will be available on entering the Barn and we would request that you use on entry and on departure. With such a large space it is very easy for us to keep social distancing between visitors. Viewings will be limited to 5 persons at any one time, which includes our Events Manager. Viewings will also be staggered. Please note that the toilet facilities at the Barn remain temporarily closed to people viewing the Barn.
Prior to your viewing, we would request you to confirm in writing that neither you or any member of your household or any member within your social bubble are showing any symptoms for Covid-19. We would happily re-schedule your visit if this was the case.
Please do email me at: email@example.com to make an appointment to view.
I look forward to seeing you soon and in the meantime, please stay safe and well.
Monica, Waxham Barn Events Manager.
Established in 1977, the Trust has been instrumental in saving more than 20 historic buildings right across Norfolk that might otherwise have been lost.
Entirely self-financing and largely run by volunteers, the Trust’s mission is the conservation and promotion of Norfolk’s built heritage.
We seek to achieve this mission by being:
A CATALYST for building conservation initiatives, working in partnership with others.
A CHAMPION for conservation through campaigning, fundraising and raising public awareness of its work.
A CUSTODIAN for important buildings where no independent economic and sustainable use exists.
